Sixth Pay Commission: GIEF demands implementation of Part B pay scale
PANAJI: Members of Goa Integrated Educators Forum (GIEF), a federal organization of all teacher associations of the state, met education minister Babush Monserrate at Taleigao and demanded the immediate implementation of Part-B of pay scales
recommended by the sixth pay commission for teachers.
The minister informed the delegation that all the legible demands of the teachers, including Part-B scales, are under serious consideration of the government.
He discussed the issue with the deputy director of education, Anil Powar, GIEF spokesperson Vithoba Dessai, GIEF's convenor Sadanand Hinde and other government officials.
